IELTS 2026 Mock Exam by SmartPrep Labs LLP
Last updated: October 11, 2026
SmartPrep Labs LLP ("SmartPrep Labs", "we", "us", or "our") provides the IELTS 2026 Mock Exam mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.
This is not an official exam. Practice scores and automated feedback are estimates.
1. Information we process
Account and profile information
- A Firebase user ID and authentication provider. The App may create an anonymous session for core functionality.
- Email address, display name, and provider account information when Google or Apple supplies them after you choose to link an account.
- The sign-in provider may also process account-verification information, including a phone number supplied to that provider. The App does not ask for your phone number or access your contacts.
Learning and user content
- Selected IELTS variant, practice and mock configuration, answers, attempts, scores, completion history, progress, feedback, and quota use.
- Typed Writing responses, Speaking recordings, optional handwriting photos, recognized text, transcripts, and AI feedback reports when you choose those features.
- Support messages and attachments you choose to send when asking for help or account deletion.
Purchases, diagnostics, and security
- An app-specific RevenueCat customer identifier, product, entitlement state, purchase history, purchase environment, and relevant store event identifiers, used for subscription access and analytics. We do not receive full payment-card details.
- App interactions, app-instance and device identifiers, app version, platform, performance information, and sanitized diagnostics used for functionality, analytics, security, and reliability.
- Sign-in provider account metadata and usage information, and approximate location derived from an IP address by sign-in and analytics providers for security and analytics. The App does not request GPS or precise location.
- Rate-limit counters, App Check signals, idempotency records, and audit events used to protect the service.
2. Why we process information
We process account, learning, content, and subscription information to provide practice and mock exams, synchronize progress, personalize weak-area training, restore access, evaluate requested responses, transcribe speech, recognize handwriting, administer subscriptions, understand product and subscription usage, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
Automated feedback is an educational estimate. It is not an official score and does not make a decision with legal or similarly significant effect.
AI processing and your permission
From version 1.0.3, before a feature sends your content for AI processing, the App explains the data, purpose, primary provider, and fallback provider and asks you to choose Allow AI processing or Not now. Permission applies to the current account on that device. Choosing Not now keeps your draft and starts no upload or AI request for that action.
- Writing responses and recognized text: OpenAI creates feedback, scores, and improved answers; Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini) is the fallback.
- Speaking recordings: Groq creates transcripts, with OpenAI as fallback. Transcripts are then evaluated by OpenAI, with Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini) as fallback.
- Handwriting photos: OpenAI extracts text, with Google Cloud Document AI as fallback. You review the recognized text before submitting it for feedback.
These requests pass through SmartPrep Labs backend services on Firebase and Google Cloud. Responses, recognized text, transcripts, and reports are saved to the account for learning history. We require providers that receive this information to protect it to the same or a higher standard than described in this policy and to process it under applicable data-processing obligations.
You can review the disclosure or withdraw permission for future requests at Settings > AI data sharing. Withdrawal preserves local drafts and does not delete saved history or recall processing already started. To remove existing account-linked data, use account deletion as described below. Older app versions may not include the permission or withdrawal controls. These controls are available in version 1.0.3 and later when the update is available in your Store.
3. Service providers
Depending on the feature you choose and whether a fallback is needed, information may be processed by:
- Google Sign-In, Firebase, Google Analytics, and Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, server functions, App Check, analytics, diagnostics, Document AI OCR, and Vertex AI;
- Groq for primary speech transcription;
- OpenAI for primary answer evaluation and handwriting recognition, and fallback speech transcription;
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement synchronization;
- Apple App Store or Google Play for purchase processing and store-account management.
- Telegram and support email services for operational alerts and support requests; limited account identifiers and failure details may be delivered to our support team.
These providers process information under their applicable terms and data-processing commitments. Processing may occur outside your country. We do not sell personal information, use learner content for personalized advertising, or enable cross-app advertising tracking.
4. Storage, retention, and deletion
- Account-linked learning data, recognized text, transcripts, and feedback are retained while the account remains active or while reasonably needed to provide the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and protect the service.
- Uploaded Speaking recordings and handwriting photos may remain in protected cloud storage after processing, including to support retries. We do not promise immediate automatic deletion after processing. To request removal, use account deletion or contact support.
- Local drafts and recordings stay on the device and are removed on a best-effort basis under the App's retention controls or when local app data is cleared.
Using Profile > Delete account and cloud data starts removal of the authentication account and supported account-linked learning records, and attempts to remove files in the protected user-storage path. File cleanup may fail or be delayed; contact support if removal appears incomplete. Limited billing, fraud, security, and legal records may remain where reasonably necessary, with identifiers minimized or one-way hashed when possible.
Deleting the App or learning account does not cancel a store subscription. Full instructions are on the Delete Account page.
5. Your choices and rights
- Review and edit recognized handwriting before it is submitted for scoring.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in the applicable store account.
- Delete the account and cloud data in the App or request deletion through the web process.
- Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability by emailing support@smartpreplabs.com. We may need to verify the request.
6. Children and security
The App is not directed to children below the digital-consent age applicable in their country. If you believe a child has provided personal information without valid authorization, contact us.
We use authenticated owner-bound storage paths, server-side authorization, rate limits, integrity checks, and encrypted network connections. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the App, providers, or law changes. We will show a new update date and provide any additional notice required by law.
