CELPIP 2026 Mock Exam is provided by SmartPrep Labs LLP. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how learners can request deletion.

Data We Collect

How We Use Data

We use this data to provide practice, mock exams, AI feedback, saved history, premium access, account support, abuse prevention, and product reliability.

AI Processing and Your Permission

Before a new answer or photo is uploaded for AI analysis, CELPIP Mock Exam version 1.1.11 (27) and later asks for explicit permission. Choosing Not Now starts no AI analysis or upload for that request, uses no AI allowance, and keeps your answer available locally. Earlier versions do not include this control; update the app to use it.

The following services receive the data needed to transcribe, extract text and produce your CELPIP feedback:

Feedback requests also include the associated question, scoring criteria, response timing, selected task choices and account-linked evidence references. A recording, image or answer may itself contain personal information you include. Avoid including sensitive information.

Evidence is uploaded through authenticated SmartPrep Labs backend services and Firebase Storage. Transcripts, extracted text and reports are returned to the app and may be stored with your account for History. You review and confirm extracted photo text before scoring on the current photo workflow.

You can review or withdraw permission at Profile > AI Data Sharing. Withdrawal stops new requests; it does not recall processing already started or automatically delete existing reports. Local practice and saved local answers remain available without AI permission. Use account deletion or contact us to request removal of stored account data.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers such as Firebase, Google Cloud, RevenueCat, Google Play, Apple, and AI providers only to run the app features described above.

Service Provider Protection

We require service providers to protect the data they process for us through confidentiality, security, restricted-use and deletion safeguards providing the same or equal protection described in this policy and required by applicable law. Processing may take place outside your country. Providers' published terms explain their security, processing and retention commitments:

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Premium entitlement and AI scoring decisions are handled by trusted backend services rather than by the mobile client.

Retention and Deletion

We retain account-linked evidence, responses and reports while needed to provide your saved History and account services, until you request deletion. Local drafts, recordings and preferences remain on your device until removed through the app, device settings or uninstall. Billing and security records may be retained where needed for legal obligations or fraud prevention.

Groq normally does not store inference inputs and outputs, but reliability or abuse investigations can retain them for up to 30 days, or longer where legally required. OpenAI may keep safety logs containing prompts and responses for up to 30 days, with legal or safety exceptions; retention also depends on the API endpoint and applicable settings. Google Cloud retention follows the service, processing configuration and terms linked above. We do not represent that all requests have zero retention. Withdrawal does not remove data already processed or retained by a provider.

Learners can delete their account from the app in Profile > Delete account. You can also request deletion through Account Deletion. Deletion removes the Firebase account, account-linked app data, and user-owned cloud evidence where technically available.
