This page explains how to delete your Goethe Mock Exam account and what happens to your data.
Option 1: Delete Your Account in the App
The fastest way to delete your account is inside the App:
- Open the Goethe Mock Exam app.
- Go to Profile or Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation message and confirm deletion.
After confirmation, the App deletes your Firebase account and associated account data handled by the App.
Option 2: Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the App, email us from the address connected to your account or include the account email in your message.

We may ask for additional verification before deleting an account. We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
What Data Is Deleted

| Writing responses, speaking recordings, transcripts, AI feedback, and mock exam reports | Deleted where linked to your account |
| Notification tokens and account-linked preferences | Deleted or invalidated |
| Subscription records required for fraud prevention, accounting, or store reconciliation | May be retained as needed |
| Aggregated analytics not linked to your identity | May be retained |
Important: Deleting your Goethe Mock Exam account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
- iPhone/iPad: Open Settings, tap your Apple ID, tap Subscriptions, select Goethe Mock Exam, then cancel.
- Android: Open Google Play, go to Payments and subscriptions, tap Subscriptions, select Goethe Mock Exam, then cancel.
After Deletion
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- You may lose access to saved progress, practice history, recordings, reports, and account-linked settings.
- If you later reinstall the App, you may need to create a new account.
- Store subscription management remains controlled by Apple App Store or Google Play.
